As you continue to make changes to this book, would you datestamp either the “course” page or this download page? This would enable me to know if I need to d/l a new copy. Or do you already email people when new versions come out?

Yep, good idea! I’ll add a changelog to this page when I release a new version. If you’re on the email newsletter, I’m also sending out a notification email there :)

I was initially rejected for file download when I typed in my email address and then copied and pasted the password script. These were 2 different fonts input, so I copied and pasted both email address and password sent to me and pasted them as same font and it worked fine for me. Download was also successful.

Hi! Apparently latest MacOSX Update, and Books application (I’m on 10.15.4) rendered ePub version not readable - source code examples are not visible.
Do you think you can help with that?
asharsidd on May 21, 2020
Downloaded the file OK. I will go through it in coming days and will provide feedback. Thanks

This is now fixed. This was caused by a bug in a recent Apple Books update but there’s a workaround that restores the text. Please download the latest version of the ePub file on this page :)

Where can I find the “Extra Bonus: 12 Python Tutorial Videos
The book package includes 12 HD-quality Python tutorial videos, adding up to over 127 minutes of run-length.”
?
Dan Bader RP Team on March 12, 2021

Great job, Mr. Dan! Thanks for that. Would it be possible to read a book directly in HTML? Ie. in a browser similar to other materials on the “Real Python” site.

I purchased the book and was reading it on my iPad (pdf). It is displayed in a times like font. Could I change this to helvetica (neue) or arial. Better for dyslectic people ;)
Dan Bader RP Team on Jan. 16, 2023
Hi @pjdw, I recommend using the ePub version of the book for reading on tablets and phones. ePub is a digital book format that allows you to adjust the font size and font face to your liking.
The ePub version is included with any digital purchase of our books made here on realpython.com, you’ll find it on the list of book downloads under “ePub version for e-reader devices and phones/tablets”.
