Making the Cursor Solid
00:00 The next setting will also be nice for your viewers or when you are editing videos. So by default, the cursor is blinking, which is a default behavior. But if you are recording a video and you’re doing cuts, or if you’re presenting to an audience, there is kind of like this little distraction there.

So the next thing you could do to disable that is adjusting your editor settings. So this time, instead of typing window, you type editor.

cursorBlinking, that’s lowercase cursor, and with an uppercase B blinking. And there VS Code, again, gives you a few options.

The default is blink and you want to use solid here.

Again, you can play around with the different options for the cursor blinking but once you hit Save and you use solid, then there is a solid cursor there that’s not blinking, which will make video editing or sharing your screen to an audience much more calm and nicer.
