About Dane Hillard
Hey, I’m Dane!
I’m passionate about coding for the common good. I’ve been fortunate to spend my career working on software in safety, health, and education. I also love teaching. Aside from Real Python, I’m also writing Publishing Python Packages and wrote Practices of the Python Pro to introduce programmers to concepts for collaborative software development and maintenance.
When I’m not programming, you can probably find me playing music or doing photography. I hope to find a strong harmony between my software and my art in the future!
