Real Python Live
Free, informal live sessions for anyone who enjoys Python
Real Python Live is a weekly get-together on Zoom. It’s free and open to everyone. It’s more like friends meeting up to chat about Python than a lecture, so bring your questions, your opinions, and your code, and join in whenever you like. Can’t make it onto Zoom? Each session is also streamed live on several social media platforms.
Each week brings a different topic and a different format. One week we might try out new Python features in the REPL. Another, we might build something small with an AI assistant and then review its code together, read through the source code of a popular library, or run a quiz night where the wrong answers get the most attention. Some weeks there’ll be a guest to chat with, and some weeks the room decides what we build next.
I'm Stephen Gruppetta from the Real Python team, and I'll be hosting these sessions. I hope you'll come along and say hello!

Sessions run on Wednesdays and last about an hour, sometimes a bit longer if the conversation gets going. Dates and times below are shown in your local time zone.
Release Radar: Python 3.15

Python 3.15 comes out the day after this session. We'll open a REPL, try out some of the new features, and talk about whether they'll change the way you write Python.
AI-Assisted Coding: Build It, Then Review It

We'll use an AI coding tool to build a small project live, and then review its code together. What would you keep, what would you change, and what did it get wrong?
Predict the Agent

We'll give an AI agent a real task and pause it at every decision. You predict what it'll do next, and then we'll see what it actually does.

- Follow up on something that came up during a session
