In this section of the course, you saw how you can participate in the RP community and interact with other students and the RP Team. You can do so by joining our private Slack community or by contributing to the comments section on tutorials and video lessons.

To find the chat, click Learn Python in the navigation bar, then select Community Chat under Get Help.

There’s one more place to hear from the Python community, and it’s free for everyone: The Real Python Podcast. We publish a new episode every Friday morning, with interviews, coding tips, and conversations with people from across the Python world. Listen on the site, or subscribe in Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, or your own podcast app.

00:23 Then, we’ve talked about the comments functionality on written tutorials, and then also, we talked about the comments functionality on video courses. You’re encouraged to participate in all three of those, of course, you don’t have to. There’s a lot of people who are watching our courses and using our material and don’t ever comment or engage, and that’s totally fine.

Hi Dan, I believe that the “Slack Community” button does not appear anymore in the drop down list under our avatar. That’s not an issue at all because there are other ways to get there, but I just wanted to let you know! Thank you for the great introduction videos!

Ah yes, thanks for the heads up there João! I moved the Community access under the main Learn Python menu, since it seemed like a better fit.

We’re rolling out some big new features soon, so it’s probably time to give this course a refresh in the near future :)
