How to Learn More Jupyter

Learn more about Jupyter Notebooks in our dedicated course: Using Jupyter Notebooks

You can also try using Jupyter Notebooks in the interactive online environment: https://jupyter.org/try

00:00 And here we are in our final video for this section of the course, which is going to talk about how to learn more about Jupyter. The first thing I want to mention to you is that we have a Real Python course that goes deeper into using Jupyter Notebooks, how to get started with it. And—oops! Look, it was made by me!

00:18 Ha, so if you want to check that out you can do that, it’s actually based on a Real Python article that is great to read over, so all the credit goes there, really. Another thing that you can do is obviously head over to Project Jupyter.

00:30 They have great site, and they have a way to try Jupyter Notebooks out. You can see example Notebooks using Jupyter with the different languages that it supports.

00:39 So here you would just click on Try Classic Notebook in Python and it gives you a really nice overview. Oh, you’ve got to wait a little bit for it to get started. Ah, there we are.

00:51 That happens right inside of your browser, you don’t even need to install them. And then you can go around and read much more nicely formatted,

01:00 or more or less, ha. Anyways, you can read about how to use Jupyter Notebooks on here in this interactive tutorial. There it goes, now it loaded all the way.

01:10 There’s going to be a link in the instructions, too. Another thing you can obviously do always is go ahead over to the documentation. It’s very extensive. There’s lots you can read and learn about.

01:21 And the final thing I want to mention is a nice book that was built by the people from the Jupyter Notebooks team, and it talks about Teaching and Learning with Jupyter.

01:30 It’s very extensive, and they’re still working on it as well. Here’s some interesting information that might be cool for you, also if you’re interested to maybe use it as an educational tool or just for learning more about it for yourself, right? Yeah. And that’s it.

01:44 So those would be my suggestions if you want to go forth and learn more about Jupyter Notebooks. And yeah—have a nice time. I hope you enjoyed this section of the course. We’ll have a final goodbye video for wrapping up the whole course here. Okay, see you there.
