Knowing what makes a strong bullet is one thing. Writing one while staring at your own experience is another, because your work always seems either obvious or too small to mention. In this workshop, Mentor AI helps you practice both, first by spotting problems in someone else’s bullets and then by writing your own.
The session takes about 25 to 30 minutes and has two parts:
- Warm-up on a sample CV. You get six bullets from a sample candidate’s CV, each with a different problem. You find what’s wrong and fix it, writing a question wherever you’d need a missing fact.
- Your own bullets. You turn two or three entries from your story bank into bullets, and Mentor AI asks the follow-up questions a hiring manager would.
Have your profile.md, your story_bank.md, and any bullets you’ve already written in cv/bullets.md ready to paste. If your story bank isn’t ready yet, you can work on a sample candidate’s stories instead and come back with your own later.
Mentor AI won’t rewrite your bullets for you while you’re practicing. It asks questions and gives hints, so you end up with bullets you can defend. Type hint when you’re stuck, pause to step out and ask a question, or wrap up to go straight to your feedback.
