Lovable
Lovable is a full-stack AI-powered development platform that turns natural language prompts into working web applications, using React and TypeScript on Lovable’s server-rendered TanStack Start template and a built-in backend called Lovable Cloud that supplies the database, authentication, storage, edge functions, and AI features. TanStack Start became the default template for new projects in May 2026, and older projects still use the previous React and Vite stack. Lovable Cloud builds on Supabase’s open-source foundation, and a project can connect its own Supabase account instead. Payments are built in as well, through Paddle or Stripe.
It allows developers and non-developers alike to describe the desired app in natural language, then instantly preview, iterate on, and deploy the result with one click. It keeps the generated code in a connected GitHub or GitLab repository with automatic two-way sync. Edits made in Lovable are committed and pushed, and commits pushed to the synced branch flow back into the project. That sync gives users full code ownership and makes it straightforward to bring in other developers or continue development outside the platform.
Lovable supports a range of projects from SaaS (software as a service) products and consumer apps to internal tools and MVPs (minimum viable products).
